HumaxXTerms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the HumaxX mobile application (the "App") and the website at humaxxapp.com (together, the "Service"), operated by HumaxX ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use HumaxX
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing, e.g. 16 in parts of the EU). If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You may use the App as a guest without an account. If you link an account (Apple, Google or email code) you are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@humaxxapp.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. All rights in the App — code, design, illustrations, characters (including Atlas), text and trademarks — remain ours or our licensors'. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the App except where the law expressly allows.
4. Your content
Journal entries, reflections, letters, custom missions and other content you create remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, back up, sync and display that content to you as part of the Service. We do not claim ownership of it and do not use it for advertising or to train models.
5. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Plans. Optional Plus and Premium subscriptions unlock additional capacity and features described in the App. Free features remain free.
- Billing. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Prices are shown in the store before you confirm.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings; uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases.
- LifePoints (LP). LP earned through activity and LP purchased in packs are a virtual, in-app item with no monetary value. Purchased LP unlocks cosmetics only and never affects rank. LP cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or refunded except where the law requires. Unused LP is forfeited if you delete your account.
- Changes. We may change prices or plan contents prospectively; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
6. Not medical, psychological or fitness advice
HumaxX is a self-directed personal-development journal presented in a game-like format. Missions may suggest physical exercise, breathing, fasting windows, sleep routines or reflective exercises. None of it is medical, psychological, nutritional or fitness advice and the App does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Consult a qualified professional before starting an exercise or nutrition programme, and stop any activity that causes pain or distress. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services. You take part in real-world activities at your own risk.
7. Fair use
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data; exploit bugs (for example to duplicate LP or entitlements); interfere with the Service's operation; or use automated tools to access it. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
8. Honesty of progress
Progress in HumaxX is self-reported and labelled as such. We make no representation that any completion, rank or streak is independently verified, and rank has no meaning or value outside the App.
9. Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, and may interrupt the Service for maintenance. Features marked as coming soon, beta or early access may change or never ship. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve your data across updates, but we recommend using the in-app export regularly, and guest data that only lives on your device is your responsibility to back up.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (licence restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular personal outcome.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
13. App store terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or handle claims relating to the App; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Equivalent provisions apply to Google Play under its Developer Distribution Agreement.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory law gives you the right to sue in your home jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will show a notice in the App or Site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms.
